All time record hits for web site Nov. 23'11

The web site hit an all time record of 28 hits on Nov. 23, 2011, what a great way to get those turkey fixings done and keep informed of pond goings on.
We sent a quick email to Ron LaBelle(NB DPI) last week, because of the large number of sea gulls at the pond. The problem seems to have been corrected.

Pond ph levels remain good

ph levels remain good in latest testing. A 6.18
ph level was recorded on August 18, 2011. This testing was done in the Pepin beach area on the west side of the pond. With the summer "swimming season" drawing to an end this is very good news. If anyone else has some testing results they would like to share please contact me at sass11@comcast.net

Pond ph level shows minimal increaseThe latest water sample test taken near Pepin's Beach shows a minimal increase in ph level to 6.56, an earlier test had the ph at 6.00. This last test was taken on 7-13-2011. This is as stated a minimal increase. It will be interesting to see what happens to these levels as the hot sunny weather of late July and August takes hold.
